Eight steps to speak German easily – Step 5 & 6
Step 5 Memorize German phrases
One of those “language hacks” can help you communicate in genuine German more quickly.
You can start interacting with some simple German sentences now that you are familiar with the word order in German. Start by practising short phrases that you might use every day, just like you would with single words.
For instance, “Please, a soy milk cappuccino.”
Pick the option that will be most helpful to you in your daily life in Germany! (This won’t simply assist you in learning German; it’s also highly motivating to see a future in which you travel or reside in Germany.) Now that you know a few key German words, you’re ready to go. It’s now time to put them to use.
Step 6 Watch German Movies & Videos
You may be creative with your learning methods and watch a movie you’ve already seen, but with the subtitles in German, after you have a very basic understanding of German. To make it simpler, you could even include English subtitles. When you watch “Titanic” in German with some English subtitles and you can recognise half the words, you’ll know you’ve really gotten the hang of it.
Watch some German movies with German subtitles to help you out while your level rises or to jumpstart it right away. Reading the exact German words you hear out loud will be extremely beneficial to your language learning. Here are five more German films for you to check out after you’ve seen the ten in the links up there.
