Elementary or Pre intermediate Level – A2
German proficiency at the A2 level is considered above beginner and intermediate. At the A2 level, basic words and everyday conversations are easy to construct.
The second level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is for German at the A2 level (CEFR).
For many of the businesses we work with, the A2 level in German is the entry requirement for hiring. The A2 level of German is insufficient for academic instruction.
The course’s learning goals for A2
- Simply mention his or her history, education, current location.
- Commune about daily routine tasks Handle very short social exchanges.
- Use a series of phrases and sentences to describe in simple terms their families and other people, living conditions, their educational background and their present and most recent jobs.
- Be able to conjugate verbs in the present and the two past tenses of Perfekt and Präteritum.
- Understand the function of the German cases of nominative, accusative, dative and genitive.
