TestDaf vs DSH
Before knowing the difference between TestDaF and DSH we should know what is TestDaF and DSH.
TestDaF
A standardized test called Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache (TestDAF) is used to determine an applicant’s level of German language competency for programmes that are entirely or partially offered in that language. The test, which is administered by the TestDAF Institut in Germany, lasts 3 to 3.5 hours and takes place at numerous centres across a number of different nations. It is one of the most well-known German proficiency tests because institutions all around Germany recognise it.
DSH
DSH, or Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang, is another well-liked German proficiency test that is recognised by many German academic institutions. Written and oral portions of this non-standardized test, which is administered by German institutions, are held on different days. Before taking the oral exam, candidates must first pass the written exam. The results of the two sections are combined to produce the final score.
